MY FUTURE
What was that about making all the plans we want BUT somebody else directing our steps? Im not a good planner,on the contrary, im a very spontenous person.Thinking about the future involves planning and well......on the other hand there are things that I would like to accomplish before I bid the world goodbye,something beyond getting a degree,becoming a wife,being a perfect mother,having a good job,having money and all those things that make us work twice as hard to be what we deem "perfect" I could make all the plans I want,build castles in the air and dream big...BUT what does it matter if I dont make today count? My biggest dream for the future is to be in a position to help a brother,and of course sister who is in need,to be there for someone who needs a shoulder to lean on,a hand to hold,a listening ear,someone to care...wouldnt the world be a bit better if all thought of someone else?

FAR FROM HOME

I thought it would be easy....you know,be a devoted tomboy today and the next day turn into a Cinderella,like the way a frog turns into a prince and an ugly duckling a beautiful swan.Shock on me! I have lots of respect for women as i have learn t that being a woman is not easy,especially if you liked climbing trees rather than playing with dolls.Women are strong!! Think about it;how many men can do half the things that women do in a day? Waking up early to prepare breakfast,do laundry,do dishes,take care of the children and basically make sure everyone is okay! Thats HARD!! You try pleasing everyone and you will know for yourself. Women are sunshine on a rainy day,they are all smiles when things are going bad,they endure and forgive alot,they reassure,give confidence,praise....you name it! It just crossed my mind that if thats what a woman is,then i have a long way to go....im far from home.
